Review: AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 1600Mhz (8GB kit) DDR3 RAM
AVEXIR – a brand famous for their memory modules, famous not only for their quality but for their aesthetic value. Unlike the Core series that comes in transparent plastic packaging, the Blitz series comes in a neat black box.
Lo and behold, the beautiful RAM tucked in place.
Just how beautiful is the RAM? Here’s my L337 gaming variant.
AVEXIR’s Blitz 1.1 series comes in various designs to match motherboards.
The Blitz series comes in various package (dual channel and quad channel), designs and LED colors, details at theofficial product page.
The LED colors are beautiful, this one’s with yellow colored LED.
Here’s the CPU-Z information for the AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 1600Mhz (8GB kit) DDR3.
And here’s the benchmark from AIDA64, with XMP profile loaded.
The RAM was stable throughout Memtest86 test as well.
As for overclocking it beyond the stated spec, I wasn’t able to bump the speed beyond 1600Mhz.
The AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 RAM is certainly a looker, especially with the LED flashing away. The ECS L337 model I’m using was custom ordered, 1600Mhz Blitz models are priced at RM 369 for 8GB kit. You may purchase AVEXIR RAM fromIdeal Tech, the people who helped me with my custom order.
